Summary: Big Creek Trail to Midnight Hole and Mouse Creek Falls is a fantastic easy hike with beautiful views of the creek and it’s raging rapids. Midnight Hole is 1.5 miles up and Mouse Creek Falls is 2.0 miles. I highly recommend this easy to get to, gently graded day hike.
With 30 miles on both the Vasque boots and insoles with no issues I consider them broken in. I loaded up the D700 and tripod and headed to Big Creek Trail on this beautiful day specifically to get great shots of Midnight Hole and Mouse Creek Falls:
